For Wilkerson, tapping into connections within the music industry was easy. His roots in rock run deep. After he graduated from Whiteland Community High School in 1985, Wilkerson moved to Florida and formed Nova Rex. The band rode the popularity of the hair metal wave of the mid-1980s, in the thick of the scene that birthed Motley Crue, L.A. Guns and Guns N’ Roses.

Phil Soussan Mentions Rockin’ Recipes for Autism in Interview

In a new interiview with Rewind Magazine, bassist Phil Soussan (Ozzy, Billy Idol) talks about his new gig with Last in Line and about his addition to the Rockin’ Recipes with Autism Cookbook.

From the interview:

Aside from music, Soussan, has also tried his hand at cooking over the years, having even owned his own restaurant in the past. I asked how he got involved with local Central, FL rocker Kenny Wilkerson’s upcoming cookbook “Rockin’ Recipes for Autism,” and he says; “Ken had basically contacted me asking if I would be interested in submitting something. I thought it was for a great cause, and cooking is something that is very near and dear to me, so it was something I jumped on right away.”
